I think the pose of the guy on the left has a lot of character. No critique here - looks fantastic :)

That flame coming off of Taki's eye is awesome... good, subtle sense of wind with that and the cape.

I have watched you for a while and really enjoy your stylized characters. I love shapes! Nice use of dull colors in the background to make your bright characters jump out. Also, I like different positions you have used. It makes me anticipate the coming tussle.

A few nitpicks though, the environmental items/background just seem like an afterthought. Maybe that's what you were going for? Also, it seems like there should be a few more drops of rain hitting the subjects.

Not sure who is who, but I like light trails. So the dude with red skull head should win!

Great stuff as always Cheeks.

The bg's throwing me a bit though. What I assume is water in the bottom-left corner looks like a cliff, and the elements on the right look like they're floating in the air.

Awesomeness as usual, I can almost see that camera panning right as Zero slides left revealing Taki to the audience.

Shame I missed out on that bastion's 7 fan-art journal extravaganza, i'da loved to have taken a crack at Zero. Not with a weapon, that's Taki's business XD

Seems like Zero will have an uphill battle, but will come out on top, in my opinion.
