Cool! I like the first one better! And then the third... The middle one not so much, because of the guy in th back, I don't find him as powerful as in the other two covers. Plus he's so in the middle. SO I'd really have to go with the first one! Good job!
I like the layout of the first one the most except swap out the simple standing there pose for the more dynamic pose in the other two versions. Keeping the First ones size at the same time. So more dynamic pose but scale it in size to matching the standing pose... does that make sense. One more thing drop the exclamation point... it'll give you some of that much needed text space.
This looks damn kewl, but from my point of view, I would like to see the detail of the man carrying the girl on his shoulders of the first frame but in the third, that will give the cover an effect of unity between each character...
Not like it the third one, that looks like the big male character is floating or flying...
The first cover out of the three is the best, in my opinion. It is completely visually appealing, what with the exclamation mark, the big guy taking up a bunch of space and capturing my eye in the background (before leading me to the lonely guy, then to the girl riding the big guy). AWESOME work.
Very good ideas. I like the poses. I like the first one most because of how the female character is holding on to the large male making it look like they're flying or falling downwards. I also think the large picture of the male with the ring in the background looks more epic then the other two. Very good artwork.
can't. stop. looking. truthfully, u r very good. i like the first one with the girl on the big guy's back. it's good character grouping. seems cool and realistic. also, i like the fire guy's pose in the third one. has the most impact definitely. Your lineart always has a very soft fluid feel but poses and expression always ground it.
btw, I really enjoy your design work. esp. on spectactular spider man. I've been watching it every week and can't wait for your next collection/book to come out.
hey man im noticing you have the same big guy draw an d you just play whit it moving it arround... do you do tha t often? I mean draw the character until you get the pose you like the most and then play with it in the composition of the cover?
