I'm a little rusty with the covers, so I did 3 layouts to try and make the cover interesting, while keeping in mind to leave space for the text.

Love looking at your roughs... great establishment of motion and weight. Do you start with pencils??? Then bring it into Photoshop or Illustrator???

I know you may not want to give us too much about your process but I'm so curious.

just move the jumping character up a bit. and your set.

Cool!
I like the first one better!
And then the third...
The middle one not so much, because of the guy in th back, I don't find him as powerful as in the other two covers. Plus he's so in the middle.
SO I'd really have to go with the first one!

I like the layout of the first one the most except swap out the simple standing there pose for the more dynamic pose in the other two versions. Keeping the First ones size at the same time. So more dynamic pose but scale it in size to matching the standing pose... does that make sense. One more thing drop the exclamation point... it'll give you some of that much needed text space.

I've been doing covers like crazy the last couple of weeks, and I'm constantly being warned about the borders and the text...
