Gumshoes 4 Hire by cheeks-74 Gumshoes 4 Hire by cheeks-74
Update: Here's a version that I had asked :iconcalebsawyer: to color script for me.

Hey, gang. I know there's gotta be one or 2 of ya still up, so I thought I'd give ya another sneak peek into another one of my creator owned properties called Gumshoes 4 Hire (intergalactic crimestoppers). I've roughed out 56ish panels so far, and about 12 more panels to go to wrap up chapter 1 for it.

Some of you may recognize some of the goons getting away...more will be revealed later on down the line. :)

Text is only temporary for your reading enjoyment. Still trying to figure out how I'm going to handle it, so pull your punches. :)

Story and Art by Sean Galloway.

Hope ya'll digs!

Looks good I just wish I could know who was talking to who better. At first it seemed like Ryan became James, I suppose. But really nice style and concept and the shot angles are nice, too. It's nice to see simple video reel format panels. They look good.

This rocks. The panels are solid and the action flows well. In fact, the only weakness I see is the text, which you have already addressed. That being said, I actually like the way you have the text done, and the only thing I would change would be the color behind what the "boss" says. In a couple of panels it's difficult to tell what he's saying.

Great job!

Wait, it's not the boss, but the goon who has the lite green behind his text. Durr...

Lotta buildup and atmosphere in these panels.

I don't know why, but I immediately thought of Scooby Doo meets Hayao Miyazaki while reading this. It's like a Mystery Machine full of Kutas is speeding off in one of Miyazaki's sunset landscapes. It's just cool.
