My pal :iconmatteoscalera: asked me if I wanted to do a pin-up for :iconalessandromicelli: and :icongianmac: for their creator owned project, Tales of Avalon. The concept and the designs are wicked-cool, so I couldn't resist.

This'll be a double page splash pin-up.
I have been really diggin my Cintiq, and drawing more digital lately. This piece so far was done 100% on the Cintiq

Cool poses. How has the Cintiq been? I've been strongly considering getting the 12" version, which one are you using?

less paper usage, no papercuts, and i can keep the eraser shavings to a minimum! HAHAHA What was good about the Cintiq is it's easier to flip the image to check if i'm on volume, and i can move my composition around a lot easier.

Do you notice a difference in line control or dexterity? I like all the pro's you just listed, but a smooth screen or smooth tablet doesn't seem to have the same grip or "bite" to me as a pencil, or even pen, on paper.
How do you prefer to do your linework?
