If I had more time to practice with designing Nick Fury in my style, then this would have been the way I'd have drawn it for Venom. Maybe not emphasize on the leg muscles as much, but I wanted to make sure I still knew had to draw legs somewhat anamatologically (is that a word?)correct. If I didn't eventually go with this design I would have liked to have done the style I drew him in on p.9 in the panel where he is shooting the sentinel. This was a commission I did for a little kid at the Long Beach Wizard World Con. I hope to meet up with a few fellow artists from the boards!
So cool. Your characters have so much personality. The legs in this one seem a bit overworked and in a different style than the torso and arms which are quite beefy. But as for the word... umm... ya, lets just go with anamatologically
awesome stuff. great design as always. I love your coloring technique. really suits your art well. Are you going to Wizard World Philly this weekend?Did I ask you that already??? peace
diggin' the stylization.
