This is awesome, the desaturated colours you used really communicate the feel of rain... though it's a bit strange that he's a lot darker than the background, even the trees. I can see how that can be stylized as rain, but it somehow just doesn't flow too well. Like, either parts of him should be lighter or parts of the background darker, if that makes sense.

I hope that wasn't too harsh - I do like this, it's a nice pic from you, and as usual I'm totalyl digging the shading and colours and how you used the gradients.

why is his top half darker? :) I really like those scetches of the floating houses btw :D

i don't know if its the contrast between the the white out line and dark top part of the figure, but the character is a bit hard to look at. i find i have to strain my eyes.... maybe that just me :)
love the background.
