Pipe down, Snarf. You're causing a scene. Good, cat-dawg. ^^
Heya, peeps and peepettes! well imma start doing a series like this where the main character(s) are in color to keep the focus, and do up the rest of the characters in monochromatic hues. believe me you i'm gonna go down nostalgic lane to keep the theme going.
oh, and this will be a print available at the LA convention this coming weekend.
You have done the impossible. You made Snarf look COOL!

"Yoda is an alright guy, but he still fits the description of "huge asshole." During the first minute he's on screen, he steals Luke's food, a flashlight, and beats R2D2 with his walking stick."
It would be illegal for me to say I didn't like it. You should definitely do this whole "main characters are colored, everybody else is black and white" thing more often. It looks amazing, man. Awesome job, keep it up.
The technique just works. Usually you have to do some tweaking in order to get things just right when experimenting with new styles and w0t, but this just works.
You really get the desired effect form it, too. Were they all colored, or monochromatic, the image would feel unbalanced. However, the reddish hues in Lion-o and Snarf set them off, and the blueish dudes in the BG can be scaled and arranged in order to suit the compositional qualities of the piece.
