OK seriously, this is the best way to not only pay tribute to the old G1 Transformers that I grew up with and grew to love, but is also a totally amazing way to revamp it and keep it fresh.
They say when re-making a movie or covering a song, you need to be able to add something to it, make it your own and make it better. (The re-make of Psycho is an example of how NOT to re-make a movie...) and Sean Galloway here has TOTALLY done a proper re-make of the Hero Optimus Prime!
The sense of weight, and action is beautifully layed out and the colours, while keeping true to the original, have a nice soft effect...altho he IS missing the Autobot insignia...
Seriously one of your finer works, my friend...wouldn't mind see you pull off StarScream in the same way!

Niiiiice! I feel that the feet area seems a little... void... but then, perhaps it's better left that way. It's really a great redesign, leaves much of the original and is so easy on the eyes. Add in the Autobot insignia and Prime is as great as it gets.

Can I make a request for Soundwave with a couple of his cassettes?
